Community Spirit at Shooters Youth.

As the new football season approaches, the air is filled with anticipation and the scent of freshly cut grass. It's a time when local communities come together to support their young athletes, and nowhere is this community spirit more evident than in the efforts of the parents of the U13 and U14 teams.

These dedicated individuals have taken it upon themselves to prepare the 11v11 pitch, working tirelessly to clear away grass cuttings and ensure the field is in top condition for the players. Their hard work is a testament to their commitment to the sport and their children's passion for the game. A huge thank you to them for their efforts on behalf of the coaches and players.

But the work doesn't stop there. The next challenge lies in prepping the 9v9 pitch, and once again, the call is out for parents to join forces. By bringing a rake to training sessions, they can help clear the pitch, fostering not only a sense of pride in the team's facilities but also reinforcing the values of teamwork and cooperation off the field.

This is grassroots football at its finest—where the game is more than just what happens on the pitch. It's about building a community, sharing in the triumphs and challenges, and creating an environment where young players can thrive. So here's to the parents, the unsung heroes who are as much a part of the team's success as the players themselves. Your efforts are truly the heart of the game.

If grass clearing is not for you, but you'd like to help at our facilities, please get in touch we always have improvements to make. In particular our benches at the top of the field are in need of a sand down and repaint ?.
