Andover, Hampshire – The Shooters Youth U8s team have today taken part in a challenging tournament hosted by Braishfield Bees Youth Football Club, showcasing their resilience and growth as they gear up for the new season. Despite facing formidable opponents, the young players demonstrated remarkable determination and a positive attitude throughout the competition.

In their matches, our U8s faced teams such as Andover Football Training Centre, Havant and Waterlooville, ABFC Youth Lions, Millbrook Panthers, and Fleming Athletic FC. The team consistently put up strong fights, displaying great defensive skills and teamwork. Their ability to stay united under pressure highlighted their fighting spirit and enthusiasm.

The young players’ energy was infectious, inspiring their teammates and supporters alike. Their continuous push forward and willingness to learn from each game reflected their growth throughout the tournament.

The coaching staff played a crucial role in guiding the young players, providing strategic insights and motivational support. Their emphasis on developing a positive mindset and encouraging players to learn from each experience was evident in the team’s overall performance.

Head Coach Tommy is incredibly proud of the players, saying "This was our first taste of tournament football and a valuable experience for the team. This age is all about development and building character.

We showed a lot of it and the day represented a useful pre season conclusion for us before we begin our development league fixtures."
